If ever there were a true southern city ~~ Savannah is it. I had never been to Savannah and I was trying to soak everything in. I didn't want to miss a thing. The first thing I noticed as we drove into the city was the Spanish moss draping from the giant oaks. Secondly, were all the beautiful plantation homes. Everywhere I looked, I was in awe of the beauty of the city. Savannah has taken great care of her heritage. There was not a single establishment that we entered where the staff did not treat us graciously.
I'd like to thank Karl Kessler for giving his time to take us on a wonderful tour. If not for his generosity, we would not have been able to learn more of the great history, (both paranormal and other), of Savannah. I would also like to thank the people of this great city for their hospitality.
I highly recommend a visit to this beautiful city. There is so much to see and do. I, for one, am looking forward to returning.
